I love my farmer's market Saturdays! For me it's like going to a food fair each week... but I often get comments about how expensive it is or how produce there costs more than grocery stores. While this is debatable; I personally would much rather spend an extra few bucks on eggs for the peace of mind in knowing that they are not going to cause inflammation or cause me to need an expensive medication in the future... How much is inexpensive or convenience food "costing" your health? I also appreciate being able to support and talk to my local farmer! These people work from dawn to dusk to tend to their crops. They love what they do but it's hard work and if we dont continue to support them we wont even have the option to buy local and fresh produce in the future.
